LoriJeane Moody
Managing Director of Development, Public Finance & Operations
LoriJeane Moody has over two decades of non-profit management, philanthropy, and communications experience, primarily in the park development and land conservation sectors. Prior to joining New City Parks, LoriJeane served as Senior Vice President of Development for the Open Space Institute. Over 13 years at OSI, she raised $16 million in operating revenues annually in addition to completing over $100 million in public-private partnerships for park improvements in NY, NJ, and SC. She helped spearhead the team that brought New Jersey’s newest state park and single largest conservation investment to fruition--the Garden State Greenway. Prior roles included work for the Trust for Public Land and organizational consulting to conservation organizations for the Land Trust Alliance. She is a 2023 Lead New Jersey fellow, a public policy program comprised of more than 1,800 civic leaders from NJ’s most prominent companies, nonprofits, and government agencies.
LoriJeane holds a BA in American Culture and Communication from Emerson College.
